Eleanor Hudson is a professional harpist who has performed regularly with most of the UK’s leading orchestras and appeared at prestigious venues all over the world including the Royal Albert Hall London and the Wiener Musikverein in Austria. She has regularly performed concertos, chamber music, recitals, added her magic touch to countless weddings and events, and inspired others to love and play the harp through her teaching.
As well as regularly performing as a soloist in the UK, Eleanor was Principal Harpist at the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra for almost two decades, before making the decision to leave and pursue a more diverse and varied career.
As a soloist, Eleanor has played for Her Majesty the Queen, for the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire at Chatsworth House and performed at the wedding of Gary Cahill (England International footballer).
She has acted as guest Principal for most British Orchestras such as the Halle and the Philharmonia, and regularly performed concertos with the RLPO (Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra) and the Scottish Chamber Orchestra.
On a lighter musical note, En has worked alongside Bill Bailey, Tony Bennett, Wayne Shorter, Elvis Costello, Robbie Williams and Barry Humphries (now there is a story!).
